About the Exhibit

The exhibit will cover the various aspects of engineering that are needed for the generation and transmission of safe and reliable electric energy to end-use consumers. The exhibit will include information on multiple types of electric generation utilized by EKPC to provide energy to Kentucky homes, including solar generation, fossil-fuel derived generation, and methane-gas derived generation from municipal solid waste landfills. This exhibit will include a Van de Graaff generator, a solar generator demonstration, and other activities related to generation and transmission of electric energy.
